Wherever possible, our cleans are conducted using our high performance van mounted steam cleaning machines.
High pressure vacuum extracts the steam, chemicals and dirt from the carpet back to our van. The quality of a steam clean is generally directly proportional to the volume of steam and strength of vacuum used. For this reason, cheap portable 1-2 HP ‘steam cleaners’ provide a vastly inferior clean to our 30-80HP van mounted machines.
Only powerful vacuum and strong steam production will ensure the entire carpet is cleaned rather than just the surface layers. Hence why so many people have had previous disappointing results from a ‘steam clean’ – it has generally been done by inexperienced cleaners and/or using low quality, portable equipment and often at a cheap price to match.
Why is steam cleaning recommended?
Steam-cleaning provides the most effective and hygienic clean for most carpets, mats, rugs, upholstery and mattresses.
High temperature steam carries the cleaning chemicals deep into the base of the carpet and assists in loosening built in grime and dirt.
The steam also has the added benefit of helping to kill most harmful bacteria and viruses that live deep in the carpet pile.
